Strategic and Enodis Ink FASA Agreement

Strategic Becomes Authorized Service Agency for Specific Supermarket Customers

DALLAS, Texas (July 16, 2003) - Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation (Strategic), one of the nation's leading providers of equipment, services and supplies to the foodservice industry, has entered into a factory authorized service agreement with Enodis Corporation (Enodis), one of the world's largest manufacturers of commercial foodservice equipment. The agreement between Strategic's W.H. Reynolds Division and Enodis U.S. includes its operating companies Cleveland Range, Delfield, Garland, Jackson and Merco Savory. Strategic is now a factory authorized service agency (FASA) for specific supermarket customers in the Southeast.

Gene Lee, President of Strategic's Reynolds Division, anticipates the agreement will benefit the company's retail clients. He noted, "Our clients already know and trust Strategic employees, so our ability to offer parts and warranty service for supermarket clients provides a consistent team from purchase through the life of the equipment."

According to Denis Griesmer, V.P. of Retail Sales and Service for Enodis U.S., "Strategic is a leader in the retail foodservice market, and we're very pleased to welcome their parts and service team as an authorized agency."

Kevin Bruce, Strategic's CEO, responded, "Expanding our long-standing partnership with our respected key trading partner, Enodis, allows us to better respond to our clients' needs. We are committed to offering complete foodservice solutions, and providing service to the equipment we sell is another way to add value and save time for our retail clients." The FASA agreement, reached in early July, is effective retroactive to March 1, 2003.
